Compass Music Camp is a six day program focused on giving mid-Missouri youth the opportunity to learn, create, and perform. Camp participants will have instrument lessons, theory class, history class, sound/recording workshop, art workshop, and band rehearsal. Each day the campers will have a private concert from a local or touring artist. This program is designed for campers to experience the joy of writing and playing music and to learn how to do so from musicians in our community. We are going to accept 30 campers (8-18 years of age) and put them into 5 bands.
Music camp will be held in the North Village Arts District. The Bridge/Columbia Academy of Music will be hosting camp as well as Artlandish Gallery, Mojo’s, Berlin Theatre, and Roxy’s. The Bridge and CAM are located at 1020 E. Walnut.
Tuition will cost $300. Make checks payable to Compass.
