January Lanterns

That’s What We’ll Be, the second full-length album from The January Lanterns, is a heartfelt exploration of personal growth, vulnerability, and the power of embracing the unknown. Written during a time of profound change for the band, the album invites listeners into a space where uncertainty becomes freedom, and transformation is celebrated. With raw lyricism and dynamic soundscapes, That’s What We’ll Be is a journey through the beauty of change—both for the band and for anyone willing to lean into life’s mysteries. It’s a powerful, honest statement of who they are now and what they’re becoming.

Megan Burtt

“She dresses her insightful poetry in a folk indie pop vibe, blessed by her instincually smoky smooth voice and candid cool delivery. She finds the middle ground between Sharoon Van Etten, Kathleen Edwards, and Norah Jones. Like them, she’s a musical chameleon with room to roam.” -The Wild is Calling

The Compass Listening Room Concert Series is an intimate music event hosted within the Compass Music Center, featuring primarily touring singer-songwriters and acoustic folk artists. The Listening Room is a substance free venue that provides an ideal setting for musicians to showcase their talents and connect with an appreciative audience. With a focus on creating an intimate experience, the concert series invites performers to share their heartfelt music, allowing for genuine connections between the artists and listeners who have a deep passion for music.
