Diego Halbeck has over 11 years of experience on piano and is skilled in playing multiple styles, including classical, jazz, blues, salsa, and pop. He is a student at the University of Missouri majoring in Music and Information Technology, aiming to develop his skills in animation and game development. For the last 6 years, he has actively been involved in jazz bands, collaborative piano work, MSHAA choral events, opera, as well as musical theatre. His musical perspective is greatly influenced by his Peruvian upbringing, where all his aunts, uncles, and cousins sang karaoke and danced until midnight at every holiday gathering. In the same way, Diego believes learning piano should be just as accessible, impassioned, and unifying. Outside of music, he enjoys going out skateboarding, doing jigsaw puzzles with his friends, and playing video games!
