Sarah Davis doesn’t remember her life BEFORE the violin. She began with classical Suzuki training, and holds a Bachelors of Music in brass performance (French horn!) from the University of Iowa, but she has branched out from orchestral settings into bluegrass, folk, jazz, jazzgrass, and roots music over the last twenty years. Sarah also plays the guitar and bass in her local duo Sarah & Mark, sits in with other local bands, and enjoys composing and collaborating on new material. When she’s not gigging or thinking up creative ways to approach new tunes, you can find Sarah outside in the garden, on an adventure with her family, or working with postpartum and breastfeeding families in mid-Missouri.
