Sarah O’Brien began her musical journey as a recorder student at the age of 7, but later found her musical home in the Native American style flute. As a hospice volunteer, Sarah has had the opportunity to offer musical companionship to patients at ending stages of life. She has also performed for various groups, including Artists Standing Strong Together and the Healing Story Alliance.

Sarah is happy to work with all levels of students and encourages curiosity and creativity in music-making. She provides a safe, encouraging environment to learn and grow in.

Sarah is not affiliated with any tribe, and does not play or teach traditional songs, but she does respectfully carry forward music from the heart with the intention of bringing people and songs together.
